also might have something to do with arresting a 14 year old under racial purity laws in the UK. girl who asked if she could chagne groups because no one in her discussion group in school spoke english, and she had no one to talk to

I wouldn't feel too bad for Al, he's got a budding thespian career waiting for him after he turns the lights out at Air America HQ. Check out the success of his movie, "Al Franken: God Spoke," currently number 65 on the charts. It's been released for 4 whole weeks and already 10 theaters have picked it up. The film has grossed a whopping $64,600! Sure, that's less than the revenues earned on "goobers" at the candy counter, but it's a start.
