Don't have those answers, but I do know they are huge. Some environmentalists decry them for damages done to birds that may fly into them. I don't know but I think destruction of habitat is far more of a danger to birds and other wildlife than a wind mill. JMHO

And speaking of wildlife, we have indoor/outdoor cats and I leave food and water on the front porch for them. Last night I walked into the kitchen and at the window on her hind legs staring in was a raccoon. Looking out, the food bowl was empty. I went out with some for the bowl and she didn't even run away. Talk about tame, LOL. Also a few days ago I saw the biggest wild turkey I've ever seen walking across the back yard, and believe me there are a lot of wild turkeys around here.
