DDDX's lack of success in 3D priting should be all the proof you need.

Am I wrong in thinking they said they were planning on ordering more 3D printers? I do not understand how they would want more machines for something they were unsuccessful in doing.

I doubt the general public has paid more attention to 3D printing than people here.

Agreed... I do not believe the general public spends much time thinking about 3D printing at all.

If 3D printing was so cost effective companies with much more resources would already be doing it.

I believe something similar was said about IBM and Apple at the time... Just saying.
