Hey arizona1-

Nat gas. I'm in the middle of it with a dozen wells within 5 or 6 miles of me. Most are not pumping and capped because of low prices, but the proven quantities are there ready and waiting for demand and the right price. It's the Marcellus shale gas and although info right now is sparse there is supposed to be a field of oil and gas far larger below it. 2 test wells into that field have been drilled but no info is available publicly as yet. Just an update.

Arizona1: Nat gas still is the answer if it is developed without fracking. My State, Maryland, has banned fracking. The ban was supported by Republican Governor Larry Hogan.

There is no perfect solution. But if methane emissions are to be reduced, we need world population control in a very big way. That is my number one issue--world population control.

You are aware that there is a big pile of floating plastic debris in the Pacific under the surface. I do not recall the size, but it is mind blowing. It leeches dangerous chemicals that fish ingest.

Without very stringent world population control, we are doomed. No exaggeration.
