OT - Help! Re: broker commissions
I'm just getting back to day trading, after taking a few months off, and was shocked to find out that my broker drastically changed their commission schedule.
They used to charge a flat fee for the first 5000 shares traded (no matter how many times you bot & sold), then $0.02/share. They now charge PER TRADE, effectively increasing my commission costs by appx. 2 - 10 times (I prefer to 'build' my initial positions)
Can anyone here recommend a good discount broker that doesn't charge on a 'PER trade' basis?
I recall a few months ago Zeev saying that he pays a flat fee per year (from a WRAP account, was it?) for unlimited trading........zero additional 'commissions'.
Thanks in advance,
JLS
