who knows..but I don't thnk so....I think its ds crossed with a commercial worm..im pretty sure that's exactly what kim said he was going to do..and now hes announcing that hes created a hybrid by crossing a commercial worm with "the company's best performing silk line"..

by "best PERFORMING" I believe kim is referring to a line that has been utilized in one way or another...not some unknown line that he just created and pulled out of the lab...

ds has been tested by the army..he sent some to a medical supplier..shoot packs are being made with it..(at least that's the rumor)..I don't know of any other line that has "performed"..

Hello Zen, lets not forget we have a few eyes and ears in Vietnam to which this news could be relevant as well. After all, the Vietnamese have been purchasing their inferior silkworm eggs mostly from China. Our ability to produce a better silkworm and consequently superior cocoons and silk is also top of the list. If Kim wants to open a silkworm research and production operation in Vietnam, proof of concept and process is very important.
