Inter-atomic potentials have to do with EVERY atom in EVERY molecule in EVERY fluid and EVERY solid in EVERY process in EVERY space in the Universe. Such statements make it is clear there is a severe lack of understanding of Physics! Those statements are flat out wrong. How do you suppose there are chemical processes without atoms interacting and that ALWAYS requires electrons! ALL of chemistry is an inter-atomic "electro" chemical process. How are ions produced? How do atoms bond, how are gasses formed and endlessly on and on.
