There is our SPORT of course and Intuitive SP. The only other POSSIBILITIES that I can find is Medrobotics, Samsung and Virtual incision. Virtual Incision is not a serious competitor and I doubt will be adopted IMO. Just not gonna be anywhere close to the same league as SPORT. I haven't heard anything about Samsung in a very long time. Not concerned, in fact I wonder if SPORT would be attractive to them as their design from what we have seen was somewhat similar to SPORT. Medrobotics may be the only other company that could make some headway here however the design of the FLEX system doesn't seem like a viable abdominal surgery design. I would think they would need serious changes to make that happen. Oh and I guess you can could consider Surgibot as the 4th possibility. Looks like SPORT could blow them all away.....
