Good points. Cortex played by the rules and then some, and that can pay off later--it's a lot better to be perceived as a good citizen by the FDA than as a malcontent. And having experience and consultants can only be a plus. Ironically, I am hearing that Rusty Katz has become a (relatively, perhaps) more positive force within his division (which is now no longer CNS, it has been divided into neurology, his domain, and Thomas Laughren's Psychiatry division).
