if i may chime in, it is skill. sort of like a horse whisperer. you have experience and intuition not only with chart TA but also gauge of sentiment and fundamentals that can drive the price. you have to have a knack for it.

i am not a subscriber and no relation, but from seeing what the DR. does and given we end up crossing paths on more than one bullish stock going up, the guy knows what he's doing in a very repeatable manner.

If you see the same patterns in front of your eyes hundreds of times, during many years, you can "see" the future of a chart, only looking at it.
