One thing's for sure. Resolution will have to improve exponentially before e-books goes anywhere.

MIR....What you say is true, we all know that changes are occurring. But books will never be replaced and old ones will be kept and handed down.

Do you really think that the hundred of millions of books will be destroyed because we may have them all on a central network?

Same thing goes for music.

eBooks still have a ton-o-hoops to jump through before accepted as a mainstream way to access the data.

Some of the challenges: Secure content, downstream speed if video / wavs added, hardware configuration needs multiple uses, standardization by publishers who hate each other as much as record labels, etc..

I believe this is a rising technology and EDIG has the potential to be useful if their OS proves valid with the application. No dots, just opinion.
