Yeah, that was something I noticed - NOBODY wanted to leave!
So they probably overbooked the reservations having no clue that the earlier people would keep their butts planted there and not make room for later reservations.
I get the feeling the place is going to be so popular and packed that they're going to need to have reservations at least for the weekend every weekend after opening, until they at least expand in a big way outside. Even then....that might just feed off itself.
It's such a perfect location IMO especially since the surrounding restaurants aren't geared for UWNK's type of demographic. Ruth Chris is delicious, but not exactly a place to drink and mingle and meet other people, for example. Also for the business lunch crowd, there are a ton of big office buildings in the area. This is the perfect place for those who only have a 45 minute to 1 hour lunch because you can always order right away, get your check right away, get your food faster as the waiter doesn't have to then punch it into a computer then go back and check if your food is ready, etc.
