Yes, I'll allow that's fair comment. When your head is sent spinning by such a significant change in the landscape, it sometimes takes a while to appreciate what the total impact will be.

Let's look at the Linux marketplace, for example. Do you see any significant problems with x86, bolstered by AMD64, satisfying the needs of the Linux market for the next, oh, 10 years? And if AMD64 is that good, what chance do other architectures have within the Linux community?
