I agree with your sentiments. I planned on being an investor as well. I posted my buys, reasons for buying, and occasionally offered prices as well. I was excited when management announced their plans with Avid. I saw it as a way to fund Bavi while growing the business. I ended up selling because I was tired of the negativity on the board - incidentally by the people who are now happy with someone selling their main asset. I really want to buy back, but without knowing how they valued Bavi I don't feel comfortable with new management.

because the stock is at .36. primary reason. if the stock goes to .34 next week...even better.
because they doubled revenue.
because they suggested that costs can be cut
because they removed the "going concern clause"
because of avid
because the RS cannot happen for at least 2 months and likely wont happen for another 6. adequate notice will be given.
right now, i feel it is an excellent risk. If they can get the price up to at least 70 cents before a RS I will hold. If not, I will sell before and buy back about a month after the split.
I really like the company and am willing to risk my money to support it's potential.
from a purely stock basis, I have watched this stock for about 2 decades - since they were tcln. I think the stock price is at the low even if nothing good happens for a while. If something good happens...
