As far as I know, KBLB owns no patents and has only obtained permission to use tech from Notre Dame and Univ. of Wyoming. KBLB has developed its own unique transgenic silkworm lines though. Each transgenic line of silkworm produces silk with a small percentage of spidersilk protein in it to make it either more elastic and/or stronger than regular silk and other existing materials. I really don’t know much about the IP part or what if anything Kim has done to secure any IP that is outright owned by KBLB other than a few trademark names.

<< Silk kinda answered it with discussions of Kim keeping things in the lab and not rolling out something tangible. >>

I disagree with that statement. I believe that there has been plenty of evidence over the years to show that KBLB simply cannot produce large quantities of material. They can't even produce enough material to create a few sample shootpacks for the Army contract (and they have had over 1.5 years to do so). If they can't even create enough material for samples, how can they produce enough material for anything else.

So I don't think that KBLB is choosing to stay in the lab. I think that they are forced to stay in the lab because they can't produce.

There are many on this board who have been in kblb stock for ten
years who have groan weary listing to be patient, once this, soon as,
etc.etc.not to mention all the baloney kim has dished out to SH's
over all these years...I think we've earned the right to express
ourselves on IHUB as others do their cheering.

"Lol. Well, it is all out there in the open for everyone to see, isn't it? I mean, we have our crack team of Super Sleuths around here that have been on this guy since Day One! Wonder why nothing has materialized on that front? Could it be...there's nothing there?"

"Unless, of course, those speaking ill of the company and its CEO have knowledge of stuff the SEC Investigators don't. If that's the case, I believe that makes you complicit at the least and accessories at the worst!"

suggestions you may want to check this out.
