Just insane! I don't own any. Options hunting because I believe there is some major underlying issues coming. This is just a taste of what's going to happen in 2018.
I too believe that XIV and other inverse ETNs were "targeted" in an unscrupulous campaign to wipe out positions... SEC is "looking into" the trading from Friday last to Monday AH... (I don't expect any real "justice" to result...SEC has for the most part been ineffectual for years and years)
Now...as to VXX and vix+ trades...to Me it appears there is a severe case of Backwardization...at least for the time being... S&P ended down today...and swooned a Lot more in AH... With the Congress and White House and 10yr. yield and Volatility imbalances all in "a state of disarray"... I suspect tomorrow will be even More of a vixen day...
