First, I understand where you are coming from, but at this point, we don't know 100% for sure that he doesn't know something. That is why it is called an OPINION.
Second, from time-to-time I make a quick decision based on information and then follow up on it to verify my choice. If it was a bad choice, I correct it ASAP.
Third, if my mother gets scammed out of her life savings, she will call me and I will tell her she should have checked it out before making a BIG decision like that and then I will replace her $74.51 life savings account.
We learn a lot from our parents growing up. I based my life based on seeing where they are in life now and I learned may things from them that helped me get far in life as well as many things not to do.
