Here is what happened I guess as nodummy said in his posts...
Someone renewed their domain few months back and got that info@ptaholdings.com email active and probably sent out the communication on the PR to Global News Wire. Since it is coming from company published email/domain address, they published it consider it genuine.
Who the crooks behind renewing the domain license and what the insiders part in it. I can't go as an individual and renew all expired domain names unless they put them on sale.
My fingers still point to someone inside crooks had a hand in it.
