And David Foley is quite clearly speaking for the entire company and making all decisions. Naturally, he'd be the person they'd talk to. I don't know if the Broward Court would see fit to ask him about the Royal Capital Group connection, but he'd surely lie about it if they did, and that's probably worth a criminal referral all by itself.
I'm sure Longside would rather have their money, and that's the only thing causing them to hold back on all the criminal activity that they surely have evidence of right now. For one thing, they have to know precisely how real Bridgeport-Smaran is, and they have to know (as any non-child would) that the $21 million promise is just another lie to string shareholders along and tease a few more shekels out of them. They surely know these things with sufficient documentation that the court would accept it as evidence.
That is to say, I think Longside's interest in the money, and the chance that they might actually get some of it back, might be the only thing keeping Foley out of prison. The moment they know for an absolute fact that they'll never get a dime, they let the hammer fall.
