Did not exactly do it right. I got out of ER long too soon, when it was having trouble getting above a pivot area. But I did not short.

I think your idea of shorting the HFE on the Qs was fine. It could have worked, and you did not take a big hit. And we have used HFE as an entry for a counter move several times that have worked great. But I suggest you watch the 34 ema and 50 ema on your 5 min Q chart, and see how strong those can be as support and resistance. (The 50 CCI zero line just really represents the price being above or below the 50 MA.) Today, ALL the index products tested those areas and suddenly bounced strongly off of them. The big boyz were at play.
