I don't really know anything about budweiser financials...I just took a look and they have a nice dividend yield of over 3%, but I don't like the price to earnings ratio that i see.....
I thought long and hard about bitcoin, and I am taking a pass - the concept of block chain could have some decent applications, especially with finance - I think it is absurd that 'stocks' are handled the way they are with 'accredited' investors and insiders and all that schit....but bitcoin is nothing but a distributed ledger of accounts and balances, and it is very energy expensive to maintain - tulip fever - just another consequence of unlimited liquidity
what i really believe is that the world has been living in an era of cheap money for far too long, and the process of ending that situation has only just begun. I wouldn't touch any broad based mutual fund right now - anything with fossil fuels, I won't buy any bonds just yet, and I don't know of any stocks that are truly cheap ....
right now I think I would benefit from taking a long break from investing, hold onto what I got, invest in real life assets that will serve my family - I already bought a decent car and renovated my bathroom, this summer I am going to have my house insulated properly, redo my kitchen (I want a dishwasher, that would be sick!), and build a insulated utility room inside of my garage, new floors - yeah, for now I want to invest in my home and in my children - got my oldest daughter into a private nursery school and i am convinced that is by far the best investment I can make right now
