Sure is a hostile crowd here anymore, to the point that if I had a very good source and a juicy piece of news, I would hesitate to post it here.
I guess I don't understand why you doubters can't just take anyone's post with a grain of salt, or ignore the poster if you can't, rather than viciously attacking the poster to the point that they leave.
I, for one, would like to hear whatever information, rumor, interpretation, or on-topic opinion anyone wants to share, and will rely on my own judgment to decide what level of credibility to assign to it. I believe that the majority of posters here feel the same, and the "attackers" are doing us a disservice by trying to stifle those who may be sharing legitimate information.
For what it's worth, I believe Oilphant and Elictick are much closer to the action than I, and I would like very much for them to feel free to post their thoughts and other information here, without fear of insult or recrimination, especially from those (like me) who have no source of conflicting data.
