I get that they've blown timelines in the past and don't deserve the benefit of the doubt. No argument here.
In this case, however, they said 4-6 weeks for interim data on the 10/19 call and 6-8 weeks for full.
I realize on the call they said (or indicated) that they would PR interim data. What if they changed their minds in the interim for strategic purposes and are waiting to only PR full combo data? Or are holding off PR'ing interim combo data for another strategic reason we're not privy to?
Would you expect them to PR to let us know they changed their minds about releasing combo data? I don't, and I think it would be counterproductive if they did.
Point being, I don't think we can call this a blown timeline unless we fail to hear something from the company within about 8 weeks of 10/19. We just don't know what's going on behind the scenes here.
By my math, eight weeks from 10/19 is Thursday, 12/14. I will be feeling negative too if we don't hear anything by then.
And, for what it's worth, this isn't intended to be a personal affront to you, bucky.
I am really just replying to your post because I think we all need another reminder (myself included) that timelines and strategies are fluid and we just don't know the whole picture right now.
December 22nd is approaching, though, and the picture will be clearer, one way or another, by then. Good luck to you.
