If you are a US citizen regardless where you make the profit you are still supposed to report it, I don’t agree with it ... you could live overseas and have no assets in the states but if you work you still have to report it, same goes with profit ... I’m just saying ... there are ways around this called loopholes on foreign owned companies but that’s a whole other conversation
