Nice reply. I know a number of owners in the US who would welcome this app, and a couple servers who will recommend it to their respective owners. I also know a number of customer/diners who will demand this app, because the settle up time is repeatedly and frustratingly slow, to the point they reduce the tip. I am one of them.
I took a position a couple weeks ago under $2, and have cautiously accumulated since. I will not accumulate aggressively until the Glancepay app shows a robust increase in the number of restaurants that offer this payment method, currently 207, down from 213 when I first bought, but up from 202 on Monday.
My dad was ridiculed for taking small positions in PG back in the late thirties using some of his earnings as switch board operator while in college. My perspective.. the soft bashing is just as annoying as the ‘to the moon’ pumping.
