You can't compare a disruptive/game changing Single Port Devise backed with raving reviews from world renowned robotics surgeons with a 7 year old multi-port devise with miserable sales. Alf is not the answer to the Da Vinci and that is a fact, Jack.
You do understand the reason TRXC will tank is because of the design of the platform. The other robot is a completely different design. It's funny because TRXC was trying to be a single port robotic company but failed FDA. Pope used to pump Surgibot as a portable single incision robot with a small footprint. He even used to say what is great about Surgibot is the Hospital doesn't have to dedicate an entire OR with a large platform. That was before they acquired Alf-x. He said there was a 2 million case market for single port Surgibot. That future will be met by another single port entry.
TransEnterix will probably make it as it will eventually be sold as a bolt on to one of the market leaders in the robotic field. I would not say the same about Titan. They don’t have enough cash to make it another years. Their sports will never come to market.
