I use scottrade elite. I sometimes drop of a check the night before under the door and write a note for them to make the deposit right away early morning cause I need to make trades early morning, or take the check early morning
It'll take them a few hours to make the funds available for trading. I'm not sure if they take cash?
Penny learning I have Scott's trade I have never given them cash I take a money order or certified funds to them they open at 8 a.m. and my funds are available an hour and a half later if the funds that you are depositing are more than your total account value it will take 3 days for you to be able to use that money I always make sure that I deposit less than my total account value if I need to trade that day
