Guolian is not building an indoor RAS farm. It's a misconception. They are covering the ponds while using RAS. But that's not the same as having indoor tanks. The difference? Water quality. Control. etc. Clean water is what reduces disease and increases stocking density. Big ass filtration systems and fast recirculation. So the two are not comparable at all. The stocking density is much higher for indoor tanks relative to covered ponds, even when using RAS. Otherwise SIAF would have abondoned the indoor buildings a long time ago. Because the cost is much higher per square meter.
