you can reject science all you want. but that is what you're doing. you're not choosing one "theory" over another. if you walked into a med school and started rewriting science this way, it would be like me walking in on the investigation of the recent shuttle explosion and telling them how it was caused by peculiar properties of phlogiston that they neglected to take into account in designing their engines.

this is an argument made by those with a religious agenda; specifically on the teaching of the bible in high school science classes. show me a church of secular humanism, and i'll retract.
