TJ:

"among the educated nations, the u.s. is at the bottom in terms of the number that believe in evolution?"

I think you mean to say that you want evolution to be more than a belief? Or does it take a leap of scientific faith to believe in evolution? An interesting slip. Is it a theory, a belief, or an accepted bio system in those nations with a high number that believe in evolution?

Looks like the market is undertaking an evolution of its own.
Surely down, is my bet, but many see a strong upward pull still. Hope not, I am short already.

"isn't there a statistic out there showing that, among the educated nations, the u.s. is at the bottom in terms of the number that believe in evolution?"

TJ...

I have no idea about the statistic to which you refer, but I for one reject evolution totally and have done so since long before I became a Christian. Evolution is as much a "religion" as Christianity -- both are based on faith and for myself it took far more faith to believe that all we see in the universe (including the incredible complexity of life) evolved by random chance out of nothing. I can think of nothing more absurd and less supported by concrete scientific proof. Evolution is a theory, not fact.
