Honestly, that's the scariest part of all this, and certainly not in a "Happy Halloween" fun scare kind of way.
A lot of us long-term Abattis investors had differing opinions on the long-term valuation of that lab and the controlled substances license.. and even if someone in this good old gang group was quite optimistic about the lab's value, if they were being honest with themselves, they'd have to admit that their projection could be way off due to so many unknown variables in this crazy emerging industry.
This "sale" appears to be Abattis conceding that Northern Vine really wasn't worth very much on its own. As Northern Vine is widely received as the nucleus of investor excitement, that puts a $20+ Mil valuation in serious jeopardy.. because what's left? Vergence Marketing? It's worth practically nothing and it's hard to put any faith in it at this point.
