Electrik interesting post.

But how does this 'management group with strong financial backing' get controlling interest?

Wouldn't it need EO's backing - if he and his 'clan' have controlling interest already? Is this a fact - that majority of shares (>50%) are controlled by Offor?

I would vote with the management group (unless this was a trick question).

Electick....once a major buys control, they would no longer have to "manage" Offor.

It almost sounds as if you might believe this experienced management group might make a hostile run. If this "experienced managagement group" currently holds shares, I wouldn't doubt for a second that they have kept us (SP) where we're at today.

My vote is for a major making a move.

Why all the Offor fuss? Surely everybody realises that Offor is not going anywhere. Why would he have had Chrome buy a controlling interest all those years ago - to leave before first oil?

I wonder whether Offor's presence is being made an issue on the board so that people get worried about him being there unnecessarily. I have read all the posts on the subject over the last few months and am becoming increasingly suspicious as it seems to be making a mountain out of a mole hill.

"Get rid of a historically corrupt Nigerian majority shareholder and all of a sudden the share price will rocket" they proclaimed ....

Despite everybody's high and mighty honesty pitch, people invest in oil comapnies to make money and who cares if a few brown envelopes changed hands to secure the rights ERHC now holds.

Offor, or no Offor, once oil is struck, this will skyrocket.

If anything I still view Offor as a plus for the company due to his political connections in Africa and ERHE's goal to secure rights in "areas where we have a competitive advantage".

I think the people making a fuss about Offor have their own web they are trying to spin.

All IMO, of course.

Electick...can you speak more on this comment:

"Tell me, would you vote your shares for EO or a more experienced management group with storng financial backing?"

Sell us shareholders how this experienced management group would benefit a company that appears its on the auction block and will likely get bidders once oil is proven.

Are you saying we (read shareholders) would realize a much higher sp making ERHC into a real oil company than taking an early buyout?

Would this association (read experienced management team) make a tender offer for our shares. Does this relate to Tincups majority of the minority shareholder post on EF? From my read, this clause expired?

Sell us little folks on the how this would work and why we would benefit?
