PIOE - Ash, doncamel and chemist72 were estimating earnings from RCP Advisors to get those price targets-- any patent monetization would be gravy on top of that!

Here's how they get the PTs based on RCP-- i'll reproduce a few posts from the PIOE board, and add some boldfacing for emphasis:

Chemist72 on 10/7/17: My attempt to value "new" PIOE with RCP included:
First I will try to estimate RCP's revenues. Financial advisor fees: https://www.kitces.com/blog/independent-financial-advisor-fees-comparison-typical-aum-wealth-management-fee/
From this article you can see that all the fees charged can vary quite a bit from firm to firm. For the sake of this discussion I will assume the fees charged by RCP are 1% of their assets under management (AUM). From the link posted by doncamel, as of May, 2017 the AUM for RCP was about $4.5B. Using 1%, their revenue or income would be about $45M.
Next question is what are their total operating expenses? Assuming an "average" salary of $200,000 [it may be much lower than this] per "professional" this would come to $8,800,000 for their 44 professionals. Add in another 100% or $8,800,000 for other operating expenses and I get a total of [about] $17,600,000 in total expenses.
This would leave about $27M in total earnings. This equates to about $.30/share for 90M shares [the O/S for PIOE].
Next question is what PE does a typical investment firm get for their stock? Investopedia says financial services stocks have an average PE of about 18. This would yield a price of $5.40/share for PIOE.
P.S. As an aside, RCP with its AUM of $4.475B would rank at #28 on Forbes LIST OF THE TOP 200 WEALTH MANAGERS of 2015 (https://www.forbes.com/top-wealth-managers/#72e5afe01475)

Value1008: Chemist, i appreciated your attempt the other day to crunch some possible earnings figures for PIOE / RCP. You estimated avg salaries to be $200k in trying to roughly estimate SG&A expenses.
Fwiw, this website https://www.paysa.com/salaries/rcp-advisors indicates that the avg salary for the employees at RCP is only $120k. I don't know how accurate it is, but if it's anywhere close, then RCP likely generates net profits higher than you were estimating

Doncamel: Here is their track record, notice the growth rate of the graph of the assets under management [more AUM = more revenues!]
http://investment-advisors.credio.com/l/25180/RCP-Advisors-LLC

Doncamel on 10/8/17: The great part is the NOLs are for PIOE ALONE, the investors will still pay taxes on their end, PIOE (RCP ADVISORS) will get to keep all profits/fees/percentage commissions up to $275 million TAX FREE.... $95 million CASH VALUE. That gives us a minimum share price of $1.05. Add in profit, PE, etc...... My new price target is $3-$5.... not including patent monetization. Let's not forget the new guy [Robert Stewart] they just hired whose only job is patent monetization!!!!

Updated post from Doncamel on 10/10/17: I've been researching RCP all weekend. They're no small potatoes. They manage both domestic and international funds. Partnered all over the world. They hold pensions, 401ks etc. For them to be owned by a pink sheet company is "embarrassing"..... bad for business. They will definitely have to up-list. Once more details are released like sale price, revenue, etc we will have a stronger ground to stand on for significant upward movement. Depending on how many shares you own this investment can be life changing.
Also, valuation of institutions such as RCP Advisors is usually 2% of AUM. Putting us at $100 million assuming $5 billion in AUM. Last reported as $5.5 in February 2017. That's about $1.11/share. Factor in the NOLs at .95, the proven growth record [for RCP], and a PE of say 3 (conservatively) and I get an approximate share price of $4-$6.
