I understand what you are saying, nothing is 100%. Putting it bluntly ... If you are here while you sit behind a closed door, possibly locked, well ??? You have no argument. It's a lot more than drugs. A hell of a lot more! Commerce, human trafficking, are just a couple.
I live fairly close to the border and frequent Mexico on a regular basis. We fly or go to the border crossing and go through customs. I love the country I love the people. Can't stop everything, only a fraction. US citizens are checked going and coming. Just like we scrutinize travelers coming here, they check us as we travel there.
