Depends on what the TV runs. If their own OS or Android (what is the new fad with TV's now). If android its a simple update, if their own I'm guessing it would need some firmware update. But even those are pushed monthly usually. At least for me.

That would be insane if a refresh or update could install Viva on existing Vizio smart TVs!
