Thank You Dennis for the smiles you brought to my face through your posts here, and your friendship though we never met in person. Your devotion to your family and especially to your little girls was evident through your posts. May our Lord greet you with open arms and say "Well done, my son." May your family know His comfort in this time of sorrow.
Dennis, you were a good man, had friends here, and will be missed.

Is there anything we on this board can do or express to help make the situation more bearable, or help ease your pain? If so, do not be afraid to ask. If you wish to email me directly, check Dennis's email from last night, my address will be there, initials are JM, part of my frontiernet email address.-REB

Change, Dennis....how ever he has been known to us here, will be sorely missed....his contributions and down to earth approach in his postings was only surpassed by his obvious love of his two girls....I, personally, regret that fact that we did not get to meet face to face as we had planned...

Go ride that highway in the sky, my friend,...I will see you someday....

I am so sorry to hear this news. My condolences go out to the family and friends.

How sad that Dennis and his best little buddy are taken from this young family at the same time.

Somebody clip that post and e-mail it to JF and tell him he's gotta get busy and get the PPS up there, he's got two little ones and a widow counting on him and GZFX.

It was what not the work that my grandfather did, but the friendships formed that mattered. I will take that to my grave. I wish the best for your family and friends.

I know there is nothing that i can say to really comfort you during this difficult time. But I would like to tell you that I am a christian and Jesus Christ is the only one who can give Peace and comfort during these times. Terrible things happen in life, but God uses these things to help us grow and trust in Him. We see how fragile life is and we see that we cannot trust in ourselves but we need to put our trust in Him. I hope that He will comfort you and your family during this time. You can be sure that Dennis will be in our prayers. God bless.

Joyce,

I haven't posted on this board for awhile because of differences of opinion but I asked Matt to let me post this one time.

Dennis was one of the good guys on this board and I was very saddened when I saw that he had died.

My heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family and I hope that someday you get a chance to read all of the wonderful things that were posted here last night and today about him.

We rarely meet people from the boards face to face but yet acquaintances and friendships are made.

I think there are many people here who would consider Dennis a friend and not having him around will be a loss to this board.

Take care.

Dear Joyce, my apologies for being so tardy in passing on my deepest sympathies for your families loss and comforting big hugs to your ladies. Please tell Susan and her older sister that, though I didn’t know their father as well as many here I miss him very much. I have always felt that change was one of the few certainties in this complex world of ours and every time, I expect, for the rest of my life your “change” will be on my mind, whenever I use or hear the word.

I will, always, remember him as a good friend; as a trucker, rolling into town, his mate booboo, by his side; GZFX not only in his heart but, also, emblazoned on the side of his truck, where he had long wished it.

Dennis, will always be in the bus with us; times will be always a change’in.

My last post to Dennis offered my email address, please feel free to use it, if ever, in the future you feel the inclination. Who knows, you may visit Australia, one day..

In closing, please, share with me, an exchange, with Dennis, which, to me, exemplifies his spirit and desire.

May your God be always with you.

yep fugaf,

It is a long hard road. I wonder how many of those kids that pump their arms for us to hit the train horn will remember GZFX? With the right advertizement i bet it will be quite a few. Seems everyone remembers everything they see a semi truck do. Son, am i a GXFX pumper tonight or what!

Dear Joyce and Family,

I just learned of your sad news. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you.

I presume that his chosen career path in life took him away from his home far more than most folks could realize. And far more than he ever wanted. I too have such a career. Your words on 'staying close to ones family' are so valid...I have to pause myself inorder understand the depth.

Know this, however. I truly believe he is closer to all of you now than he ever could have been in this life...and that he will never...ever leave you.

God Bless,

Rick
