Acquisition of Specialty Insurance Provider Expands Suite of Services

Las Vegas Railway Express, Inc. (OTCPK: XTRN), dba United Rail Inc., owner of the X Train brand and brand licensor, today announced that it has acquired a 49% interest in Port Austin, MI - based United Shortline Insurance Services (USIS). USIS has been serving the rail industry with innovative and railroad responsive products for the past 25 years.

XTRN has been sitting dormant for over a year. The share exchange was offered but they didn't get the threshold of 60% of the XTRN stock to effect the exchange, so the exchange offer was withdrawn. Shareholders of XTRN failed to enact the exchange.

Now, a new business is being acquired into the operations of the public company in order to roll up existing short line railroads. That is now United Rail Inc. which is a dab for Las Vegas Railway Express, Inc. The company already has a revenue stream by virtue of the acquisition of United Shoreline Insurance Services.

What is the difference between XTRN and XREE, I thought there was a merger? AS PER YahooFin: XREE MC is 2x XTRN, XREE avg VOL is 2.5x XTRN, XTRN float is 2x XREE, but XREE OS is 6B Versus XTRN OS 3B. I am trying to figure out these 2 tickers...
