Belgie, if you are in the market, you are always going to ave few that bomb on you (I am sure everyone remember my own AREM snafu), but when such a position is not more than 2%, the occasional bu$$ triple plus gains completely compensate for it. The troubles start when people fall in love with a stock and concentrate a big portion of their assets (including going on margin) in one issue, and such an issue bomb on them (we discussed on the thread WCOM and some people that got hurt badly on hat one because of such concentration). In my days as a "gladiator fighting the powerful floorless bandits", I met many such souls.
