I guarantee the creditors didn't invest in this to be paid out their debt plus a marginal amount of interest -- which would be eaten up by the costs they'd incur throughout the bankruptcy process. The creditors don't want a liquidation -- they want shares of the company for cheap. Because they also know the true value of Chemosat once it receives FDA approval.
