In a good stock patience always pays off. I am not sure of which exact experience you are referring too, but whatever one it is was probably not a good stock in the first place.

- Already Profitable - Future Revenues Growing - Big Contracts Signed - No company dilution (they don't need to sell stock to stay in business) - Audited #'s a given at this point
All this together equals a good stock!
If your other experience met these criteria it would be a good stock, but hearing the ending of the story first, I already know that it did not meet all these criteria...
