(ENTA)—Today’s GILD 3Q17 CC makes it crystal clear that Mavyret influenced the timing of GILD-KITE deal, to some degree.

My take on GILD’s separation of KITE business unit (announced yesterday):

This feels like a case of: Buyer's regret re (overpaymnt4) $KITE acquisition—>new $GILD mgmt—>renewed &intensified buyer's regret—>new biz segment for $KITE created—>CC spin—>consolidate (unimpressive) oncology assets within $KITE —>eventual sale of $KITE and exit from onc biz.
