Not ripping newbies, don't get me wrong. I made the mistake of holding through the cc. There was no reason to. That's a mistake I've made repeatedly over the years,,,.......but not again. I could have gotten my .335 averaged shares out at well above .40 and locked in a nice % gain for a few weeks of buying/adding/holding. Could have re-entered at any point, even a little higher if that's the way it would have gone, and could have re-entered a LOT lower the way it did go.
Just stating an opinion in that on a day when a stock rips 100% or better in a day it's likely that the high priced shares dropped into the hands of a rookie (or veteran) retail trader, chasing the action, and the seller is laughing at him.
Spikes are designed for smart money unloading, not accumulating. Think about it.
