Now as I look at the scars, I'm wondering, when will a biotech invent a "skin repair" molecule that will remove scars and tattoes. Has to be worth a fortune if it ever happens.
It’s not a molecule, but FCSC has a product called Laviv (actually a process) that the company says will be tested in clinical trials for scar repair—eventually. For now, Laviv is FDA-approved only for cosmetic treatment of nasolabial folds.
FCSC is the reincarnation of Isolagen, which went bankrupt in 2009. It just received a cash infusion of $45 from companies controlled by RJ Kirk, resulting in a massive dilution of pre-existing shareholders. Under no circumstances would I buy the stock.
