mr40: My Dad was a union man also same as yours, voted Dem his whole life. Being from the south he could not vote for JFK but as a Texan he voted for LBJ. I was to young to vote for JFK but I served 4 years in the AF under LBJ. My first NCOIC was black Sgt from Georgia he and LBJ are the ones that turn around my way of thinking. When I got back to Texas everything had changed and Texas was on the road to the Texas Republican shit hole it is today. I hate what the Republicans have done to Texas. Started with little George Bush then we had all those sad years under Rick Perry.
