Many aren't diversified. There have been suicides. Some newbies bet everything on one or two lotto stocks and almost always lose. They actually average down when their bets go wrong. IHUB has forums for most of the blue chips I own... stuff like 3M, Boeing and Rockwell Automation. But not active, as you say. Especially in recent years.
