My experience with TD Bank is that they scrutinize your stocks and if they don't like it than they will discourage you from buying. They have blocked me at times from buying. Solution is opening a trading account at another bank and using that account to buy stocks TD dissaproves of. Send them a " contact us " letting them know you do not appreciate being told what to buy with your money and that you are opening an account at another Bank to bypass them. Very unacceptable behaviour imo.

Yep, you have to call them to place the order.
It changed recently and they are saying that it could go back to normal in the future.

Apparently, they have to "force" the order through.
