A Stop is not something that you Want to get hit and if a stock is Uptrending should not be hit. It should be there though to protect your capital and prevent a Small loss from becoming a Big loss.
that is the trick... trying to set it so that a slight dip doesn't catch you... I've had that happen. My stop is at 3 now.
