OLB-online broker. During the late 90's, a consortium of financial players used Knight Trimark to consolidate the Market Makers. Spreads were wide, so they used the OLBs to consolidate volume and they ran it through Knight. Where all of them had a piece of the ownership. Fastforward, this Dryships has the same feel. Lots of moving parts, but mainly retail financing. Etrade, Ameritrade, and even KCG were built on retail financing with just a sliver of the ownership.
