Interesting graphs. Gcc (g77) is much further behind on Fortran than it is for C/C++. And that's just for the subset of SPECfp that it can actually compile.

Interesting graph. 64 bit version of PGI compiler beats the 32 bit one in all apps except one, that looks like a tie.

DDB, thanks. It seems that 64-bit helps. It's the compiler that makes the difference.
