fuagf -- was commenting generally, recalling the impression I've gotten more than once of his just losing or letting go of some aspect or other of his basic grip on reality while rambling on explicating his given thought-of-the-minute, in the process getting on to saying some pretty silly stuff -- I agree that whatever happens with Trump, his resignation is a quite unlikely outcome -- at least unless he is directly confronted by the immenent propspect of an overwhelming bipartisan impeachment
